We test every procedure we publish on physical devices before writing it, and we revisit guides after major MacroDroid and Android releases. Despite that, we cannot guarantee that any information on this site is complete, current, or correct for your specific phone. Android automation sits on top of layers that change constantly: Android versions revise permission behaviour, OEM skins add their own battery and background restrictions, and app updates move or rename settings. Screenshots and menu paths may differ on your device.
All content is provided for educational purposes and used at your own risk. In particular:
- Permissions are powerful. Accessibility access, notification access, device admin, and ADB grants such as WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS give an app deep control over your phone. Our guides explain what each grant unlocks and why it is needed. Grant them only to apps you trust — we recommend MacroDroid obtained from the official Google Play Store listing — and revoke any grant you no longer use.
- Automations act unattended. A macro that sends messages, changes connectivity, or alters system settings will do so whether or not you are watching. Test new macros with logging enabled, and review anything that communicates on your behalf before leaving it running.
- Back up first. Export your macro files before applying system-level tweaks or major changes, and keep a device backup before experimenting with secure settings.

Repeat infringers, if any arise, will have their material removed permanently.
