Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 17, 2026
This policy explains what information APKPad.com collects when you visit the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. APKPad is a content website about Android automation. We do not operate user accounts, we do not sell anything, and we never ask for credentials for any third-party service.
Information We Collect
Information you send us
If you contact us by email or through the contact form, we receive your email address, your name if you provide one, and the contents of your message — which may include details about your phone model, Android version, and the automation problem you are describing. We use this solely to respond to you and, where a message reveals an error in a guide, to correct that guide. We do not add contact addresses to mailing lists, because we do not run one.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers record standard log data when your browser requests a page: your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you requested, referring pages, and the date and time of each request. These logs are used in aggregate to keep the site secure, diagnose errors, and understand which guides are useful.
Cookies and Advertising
APKPad displays advertising served by Google AdSense. This involves cookies, and you should understand how they work:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent message managed through Google’s certified consent management platform, and non-personalised ads are served where consent is declined or not given.
We also use a small number of first-party cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function, such as remembering a display preference. These are not used for tracking across sites.
Analytics
We use privacy-conscious analytics to count page views and measure, in aggregate, which articles readers find and how they move between them. Analytics data is used to decide what to write and fix; it is not used to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine it with data from other sources to build profiles. Where the analytics provider sets cookies, they are covered by the consent mechanism described above.
How We Use Information
- To operate, secure, and maintain the website.
- To respond to messages you send us.
- To understand readership in aggregate and improve our guides.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers named in this policy (hosting, analytics, and Google as an advertising provider) and where required by law.
Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request its correction or erasure, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Our legal bases are legitimate interests (operating and securing the site, responding to correspondence) and consent (advertising and analytics cookies, where required). To exercise any right, email us at the address below; we respond within one month.
Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law. Requests can be made by email.
Children’s Privacy
APKPad is written for adult Android users and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Websites
Our guides contain links to external sites, including the Google Play Store, vendor documentation, and community forums. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. If you follow a download link from APKPad, you leave this site and this policy no longer applies to your activity there.
Do Not Track and Consent Withdrawal
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal; because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to it, we do not alter our data practices in response to that signal, but you can achieve the same practical result at any time by withdrawing cookie consent through the consent banner’s settings, by opting out at Google Ads Settings as described above, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent stops future personalised advertising; it does not delete server logs already created, which expire on the retention schedule below.
Data Retention and Security
Server logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operational purposes. Email correspondence is kept while it remains relevant to the conversation or correction it prompted. We use HTTPS across the site and standard access controls on our systems; no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy materially, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where the change affects advertising or analytics, describe the change here.
